Shul Politics goes on the road as it explores Some Great Shul Experiences in Woodmere.

The new issue of Klal Perspectives is out. This quarter’s crisis is the marital difficulties facing newly married Orthodox couples.

E-Jewish-Philanthropy has an interesting article titled “Can’t Buy Me Judaism”.

I wish that last piece were written in plain English, because there seems to be an interesting hypothesis in there begging to get out. Maybe someone will translate it.

Ron, I think the goal of all the verbiage there was to stress that Judaism involves more than buying Jewish goods and services as a consumer of general goods and services might do. That should not come as a shock to us, but maybe somebody out there has neglected the spiritual dimension to the point that his cost/benefit analysis leaves real spirituality out.
