  1. Usually when the secular news media takes note of our community, it’s something bad. (“Mr. X charged with molesting children, Mr. Y alleged to have stolen government funds”). It was amazing to have headlines in all of the secular media about something good: 93,000 Jews coming together to celebrate learning the entire Talmud.

    And don’t think it’s a coincidence that this happened during the quadrennial Olympic Games. “They” go to the sports arenas and stadiums to cheer on star athletes. We go to the sports arenas and stadiums to cheer on the real heroes: those who learned Gantz Shas.
