For those posting here who are both Passaic natives and visitors, I highly recommend the Passaic community. It is a warm and serious community for Bnei and Bnos Torah ranging from BTs across the Torah spectrum in all of its shuls , rabbanim and yeshivos. IF you want a real alternative to Bergen County or the Five Towns and you want a yeshivish environment without the shlep of a commute from NYC to Monsey or Lakewood, then I would strongly suggest looking at Passaic.
